We’re seeing an increase in motorhome and campervan thefts across the area. These vehicles are valuable, often parked for long periods, and can be targeted by organised thieves.

To help keep your motorhome safe, please consider the following:

🔐 Lock it, secure it: Always ensure doors, windows, and roof lights are locked — even when parked at home.
🛡️ Use visible security: Steering wheel locks, wheel clamps, and security posts are strong deterrents.
📍 Track it: GPS tracking systems can significantly improve the chances of recovery if stolen.
💡 Light it up: Park in well-lit areas or on a driveway with motion‑activated lighting.
🎥 CCTV helps: Home cameras or doorbell cams provide extra protection.
🧰 Mark your property: Mark valuables inside the vehicle and keep an inventory.
